UAA ARBITRATION ACADEMY RESULTS

With the UAA Arbitration Academy now successfully completed, we are thrilled to share our achievements!

Our goal was to empower Ukrainian business professionals, lawyers and students with advanced knowledge and skills in international arbitration through practical and interactive lectures and workshops. The focus was to equip participants with the tools to effectively navigate the growing number of international disputes, including those arising during the war, as well as to negotiate dispute resolution clauses for new cross-border contracts and projects, including for Ukraine’s reconstruction.

We are proud to have achieved this through:

Enrolment: a diverse group of 129 participants, ranging from students to experienced in-house counsels
Expertise: a stellar roster of 16 speakers, including theluminaries of international arbitration
Curriculum: 16 in-depth lectures covering essentials from arbitration agreement basics to damages and sector-specific arbitrations
Career Inspiration: an interactive career roundtable
Engagement: over 30 hours of intensive learning experiences supplemented with supporting materials
