The goal of the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot is to foster the study of international commercial law and arbitration for resolution of international business disputes through its application to a concrete problem of a client. The moot consists of submitting written memoranda prior to the moot on designated dates for both sides of the dispute. The oral arguments phase of the moot is annually held in Vienna, Austria.
The Moot is organized by the Association for the Organization and Promotion of the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot. Members of the Association can be an individual with a law degree, is a specialist in international commercial arbitration or have a professional interest in international commercial arbitration and share the goals and objectives of the Association. Read more
