3rd RAA Arbitration Online Competition
Dear colleagues, we are pleased to inform you that the Arbitration Association (RAA), RAA25 and the Faculty of Law of the Higher School of Economics invite students of law faculties, as well as potential arbitrators of the CIS countries, to participate in the 3rd RAA Arbitration Online Competition
The RAA competition is an annual student competition, held as the game trial (moot court). The purpose of the Contest is to teach students practical skills of presenting the case in arbitration proceedings.
The competition is held in two stages:
1. Online rounds will be held from 10 to 20 May 2018, teams allover the world are free to take part at this stage
2. The best teams of online rounds will take part in the oral hearings (August 24 to August 26, 2018) on the basis of the HSE law faculty in Moscow.
Participation in the Competition is absolutely free. The actual costs will be incurred only with participation in the second stage of the Contest.
Winners of the Contest will receive valuable prizes, the best speakers may receive an offer to internship in leading law firms.
Registration of teams for the Competition will last until March 15, 2018. Teams can register for the Competition, as well as read the Rules and case materials on the official website: moot.arbitrations.ru
Arbitrators may also submit an application for participation in the Competition on the official website.
On the eve of the oral hearings, the Competition, on August 24, 2018, will host the RAA Conference for the Contest participants, arbitrators, as well as experts in international arbitration dedicated to the current issues of arbitration.
