Registration is open for the Vilnius Arbitration Day 2025 supported by the UAA

Vilnius Arbitration Day 2025 will take place on 12 September 2025, bringing together members of the international arbitration community for a day of discussion and debate in Vilnius, Lithuania.

This year’s conference theme is:

Heroes of Arbitration: Great Power. Great Responsibility. Great Opportunity.

The programme will explore the evolving role of arbitrators in today’s complex legal environment—highlighting both the challenges and opportunities they face.

Roland Ziade, Global Co-Head of International Arbitration at Linklaters, will deliver the keynote address. His remarks will open a day dedicated to examining the most pressing issues in contemporary arbitration practice.

The conference will feature two main discussion streams:

· The first will address procedural dilemmas, including interim relief, efficiency in proceedings, impartiality, and the evolving role of national courts in arbitration.

· The second will focus on broader forces reshaping the arbitration landscape, with panels on the impact of AI, the relationship between EU law and commercial arbitration, shareholder disputes, and the challenges insolvency proceedings pose for arbitrability.
