Conference on Shareholder Disputes in the CIS at Paris Arbitration Week

On April 11, 2018 Ukrainian Arbitration Association, supported by Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, held the Conference on Shareholder Disputes in the CIS.

Part of Paris Arbitration Week 2018, event involved leading arbitration practitioners from a range of countries to discuss the main challenges and prospects of the CIS shareholders disputes and get the insights about Ukrainian arbitration reform. The discussion at the Conference was indeed straight, underlying the current dispute resolution problems and the main developments in the CIS region, offering new efficient ideas.

Among the speakers of the event were Noah Rubins, Board member of UAA Partner, Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer (Paris), Maria Kostyska, Partner, Winston & Strawn (Paris), Nick Marsh, Partner, Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan (London) moderated by Tatyana Slipachuk, Partner, Sayenko Kharenko (Kyiv). The corporate dispute discussion was followed by a presentation about arbitration reform in Ukraine by Olena Perepelynska, President of UAA, Partner, INTEGRITES (Kyiv).
