New Board of the Ukrainian Arbitration Association Elected
On 16 November 2015 a General Meeting of members of the Ukrainian Arbitration Association ("the Association") – a professional non-profit organization, that unites Ukrainian and foreign arbitration practitioners, - took place, where the new Board of the Association was elected.
According to the results of the voting the new Board of the Association consists of:
- Gene Burd (Partner, Arnall Golden Gregory LLP)
- Markiyan Kliuchkovskyi (partner, "Egorov, Puginsky, Afanasiev and Partners" Ukraine)
- Markian Malskyy (Partner, Arzinger)
- Dmytro Marchukov (Partner, Avellum Partners)
- Noah Rubins (Partner, Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP)
- Olena Perepelynska (Partner, Integrites)
- Yaroslav Petrov (Counsel, Asters)
- Vladimir Khvalei (Partner, Baker & McKenzie)
The Board consists of 9 members, elected every three years among members of the Association. The President of the Association, Tatiana Slipachuk, is on the Board by default.

Ukrainian Arbitration Association was founded in September 2012 by the initiative of the Ukrainian and foreign arbitration experts. The key goals of the Association include, first of all, the promotion of Ukraine, and Kiev in particular, as the seat of arbitration, facilitation and support of interest in international arbitration, extension of knowledge and exchange of experience in cross-border dispute resolution, as well as enhancing cooperation and communications among practitioners in international arbitration around the world.
