VIII Arbitration school

Ukrainian Arbitration Association is ready to announce the speakers & moderators who will share their experience during VIII Arbitration school in May 2020.

Ukrainian Arbitration Association invites everyone interested in enhancing his or her knowledge and skills in international arbitration to participate in the 8th Arbitration School, which will be held in Kyiv on 1 – 5 May 2020 at the offices of the leading Ukrainian and international law firms.

During five days of the School the field experts will share their experience with the participants, reveal some interesting facts, give some pieces of practical advice and information starting  from what lies under the arbitration agreement notion, what the process of arbitration consists of, how arbitrators are appointed and ending with an Arbitration award and how arbitration processes differ depending on a sphere. The School participants will have the opportunity to try Claimants’ and respondents’ roles and get some advice concerning career perspectives. The School offers an interesting interactive format: dynamic lectures, practical tasks and mock cases.

Applicants should send their application form and essay in English (up to 1000 words) on the topic «Arbitration agreement in electronic form: challenges and opportunities»  on secretariat@arbitration.kiev.ua with the subject: “Arbitration School 2020″.

Participation fee for all participants: UAH 200*.

*The Arbitration School participation is free of charge. The fee is paid to cover the coffee-breaks only. Travel, accommodation and meals expenses are borne by the participants.

Members of the Association can be an individual with a law degree, is a specialist in international commercial arbitration or have a professional interest in international commercial arbitration and share the goals and objectives of the Association. Read more
