The Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce (SCC) in cooperation with the Embassy of Sweden in Kyiv, the Swedish Arbitration Association, Young Arbitrators Sweden and Ukrainian Arbitration Association is pleased to invite you to an international seminar in Kyiv on 14 June 2018. The seminar will take place at Hyatt Regency Kyiv.
The caseload of the SCC is comprised of contractual and investment treaty cases, and the SCC is distinctive in its capacity to handle both. Yet, there are aspects of arbitration at the SCC, which are common to commercial and investment treaty cases. Some of them have marked arbitration at the SCC historically, such as confidentiality of proceedings, while others were introduced only very recently in the new SCC Arbitration Rules 2017. The seminar will give due attention to these aspects as well.
The seminar will conclude with a Kyiv premier of the film “The Quiet Triumph. How Arbitration Changed the World”.
